31 Days of Joy - Day 4 - How to Have Joy



The first couple days of 31 Days of Joy, we explored what joy is, what joy looks like, and what joy feels like. On day 4 of this journey, we are going to discuss how to develop or have joy. I am going to share a few strategies below to assist you.


  1. Rediscover those things that make you happy. It could be spending time with family and friends or listening to a favorite song or watching a favorite television show. There is not a right or wrong answer here. It is about you identifying for yourself what things make you happy.

  2. Remember those activities that you enjoy and that make you feel good. These could be hobbies or social activities that you like to do.

  3. Develop a plan and regular schedule for engaging in those activities that you identified that make you happy and that you enjoy. I like to say that we should do one thing each day that we enjoy or that makes us happy.


Let's start today with bringing more joy into our lives.
